Pork, seafood and duck are integral parts of Balinese cuisine and thanks to Bebek Bengil restaurant, everyone refers to the Balinese duck dishes as 'dirty duck'.

Packed with tourists and locals since its opening in 1990, the famous Bebek Bengil, like any other restaurant which sprung from humble beginnings, is now a very systematically operated restaurant able to accommodate up to 350 guests. The serene setting is as beautiful as it is relaxing and as you stretch your legs out in a cozy traditional style gazebo, nothing makes your dining experience more pleasurable than being able to enjoy your meal with the view of padi fields swaying in the breeze.

As for their signature dish, the Crispy duck, as the name suggests, is very much crispy on the outside but moist on the inside and delicious upon your first bite. Not only can you have your duck prepared crispy fried but you can also enjoy them smoked or smothered in fresh red chillies. It must be honourably mentioned that the perpetrators guilty of the simple but yet gastronomical wonder, are the thinly sliced shallots drenched in coconut oil, fresh chillies and garlic that seemingly accompany every duck dish at Bebek Bengil's. This particular condiment, best prepared at Bebek Bengil's, adds extra flavour to the duck and keeps you wanting for more.

Bebek Bengil also began introducing western influenced dishes in 2001, however from this foreign introduction, their greatest success definitely comes from exquisite deserts. Lets forget five star hotels with international chefs and their so called 'elegant' desserts, Bebek Bengil's carrot cake with orange and honey marmalade is surely to put anyone on cloud nine.

We recommend you to make reservations before hand or show up early to book a table as this place is sought after by scores of people, especially on public holidays.

Valet parking is also available to customers wishing to jump right in to the 'action'.

Bebek crispy, suasana enak dan nyaman.
Resep sambal bawangnya yang dulu enak, sekarang sudah dirubah.
+1 star: suasana nyaman.
+1 star: bebek benar2 crispy dan lezat.
+1 star: pelayanan kualitas prima.
-1 star: nasinya disajikan dingin.
-1 star: sambalnya tidak seenak dulu.

rasa makanannya biasa saja, tidak ada yang istimewa, porsinya kecil dan beda dengan gambar di menu. Yang ditawarkan disini adalah suasana restorannya, dmana ada pondokan dan juga sawah dilokasi restoran cocok buat foto2.
