The Ismaya group which is notorious for discovering unlimited and new creative ways for Indonesians to eat, has developed another new restaurant which they claim 'experience a delicious new affair between Pizza and Beer'. So welcome, Pizza e Birra.

Pizza e Birra is a really laid back place to enjoy a one of a kind thin crusted pan pizza with some good flavoured beer, and as for the beer, we recommend the coconut and lychee beer. Their creative twist to the pizza toppings means they have certainly got something for everyone with and without a sweet tooth.

A preview of their menu reflects their innovative style, with names of pizzas as intriguing as Meat me in Heaven (for the carnivore in you), Wakey Wakey (obviously involves scrambled eggs and something spicy and hearty to kick start your day), From India with Love (Curry Lovers BEHOLD!) and our favourite the Hot Hot Heat. Why? How can anything not taste good if it contains the Indonesian staple of cabe rawit and oxtail? It can be argued that the most important thing about a good pizza is the dough, and of course the toppings. And the Hot Hot Heat pizza is certainly the epitome of that.

To finish off we definitely recommend the mouthwatering combination of Oreos and Cheesecake. HOLY COW this is a super treat. Especially with the dusting of sugar powder on top which makes this dish looks like clumps of coal laying in the snow. They probably got the inspiration of this dish from the Oreo itself, as the pizza is creamy, rich and smooth on the inside and crunchy on the crust. A super Dessert!
