This place is located within easy to reach area and surrounded by several other cafes, no wonder 'Indischetafel' is visited by many people. Entering the parking lot, the unique Dutch style house is already visible. On their terrace, the smoking area, there are tables and chairs with ornaments from the colonial era, completed with their friendly waiter and waitress with old style Javanese Blouse uniforms. This restaurant is perfect for those of you who want to reminisce the colonial era or even for young people who want to eat at a very interesting and unique restaurant. On the quite spacious inside room, the non-smoking area, you will find very attractive interior with many colonial-designed rooms that you can use for meetings or gatherings with family, friends or colleagues.

The menu, which is written in old Indonesian spelling, makes this place even more unique. They serve Indonesian-Dutch menu such as Poffertjes, Oliebollen met Ijs (donut with ice), Nasi Tjampoer Indische (spicy), Tjendoel Poernama, Koffie Indischetafel and several steaks. They also have quite varied choices of drinks.

Nasi Tjampoer Indische consists of cone-shaped white rice with sweet, spicy and tender shredded chicken which has seasoning that is deeply absorbed, very spicy plecing long beans, tasty, crunchy and spicy fried potato and peanuts, and cut vegetables.

One of their specialties is Hanjuang Rice; rice wrapped in Hanjuang leaves with three pieces of tofu, meatball, grilled chicken, peanut brittle and vegetables. The best thing on this menu is on the big cut of tender chicken with slightly sweet and spicy seasoning. On the other hand, the tofu also feels soft and tasty.
