Located behind the Blok M Plaza building, you will find the Clairmont Bakery, one of the most famous bakeries in Jakarta (since 1997) because of their consistency in providing delicious, creative and reasonably priced cakes and cookies.

All of their stores in Jakarta are just pleasant to walk into as who would not want to be greeted with all types of delicious desserts. We dare you to pass by their colourful selection of Macarons without salivating. Plus, recently in the Bulungan shop, they have just undergone a renovation and their decor includes comfy couches and tables so that you can instantly enjoy their amazing selection.

Clairmont seems to be always incorporating new and creative desserts constantly depending on the public demand and current fads. At present, their Red Velvet cake is one of those such items but they also have their own take of the popular Rainbow Cake called Ombre, where it is a layered cake with gradients of blush pink colour. It is not just an eye candy dessert, but we must say the Vanilla based cake was divine. For classic favourites we highly recommend their Tiramisu which we find so light and fluffy and also their rich and heavenly Triple Chocolate cake and also their strawberry cheesecake.

Clairmont also makes excellent Indonesian cookies such as Nastar which are great as gifts on special occasions.
