Deus Cafe is found in Canggu on the road that links the one to Tugu hotel with echo beach. On island of strange and unusual establishments Deus Cafe is just about the most unusual off all.

The main building house an incredible collection of fully restored antique motor bikes, all which are for sale. Some of the bikes have been custom made and for those wanting pedal power there are handcrafted bicycles. Outside is a covered terrace, on three sides, which is the restaurant dining area, your choice of large teak tables, lounge seating or a bar area set for dining.

The population explosion in this area in recent years has been amazing with new villas being built almost by the day. Many new restaurants, cafe and warungs have been springing up but this one is all class! Its Australian heritage has, not surprisingly, produced a menu with many Thai dishes (Australian's cuisine of choice for the 21st century).

Chicken can be in Martabak form or the luscious Masaman curry (from Thailand's Muslim south). Minced Chicken is served Krapow, stir- fried with Thai holy basil (and onions, garlic, chili, and ginger). Chicken is also on the menu in many other styles including Sri Lanka and twice cooked, the legs in ground turmeric then steamed. Open from 8:00 every morning Deus Cafe offers a wide range of breakfasts, big enough for the hungry surfer who wants something better than Warung food. Banana and Almond Pancakes, Black rice pudding, Poached Eggs and smoked Salmon, Breakfast Burritos and good old Bacon & Eggs with browns.
